The study program was designed to showcase the NDIC's operational excellence in depositor protection and demonstrate best practices that have established the Corporation as a recognized leader within the African deposit insurance community. The five-day format allowed sufficient time for detailed discussions, facility tours, and comprehensive knowledge transfer across various functional areas.
Through this engagement, the DPF Uganda gained practical understanding of the NDIC's strategies for maintaining high coverage of depositor accounts, managing bank resolution processes efficiently, and implementing risk monitoring frameworks. The visit also provided opportunities to discuss common challenges faced by African deposit insurers and explore collaborative solutions.
