NDIC Hosts International Deposit Insurers' Africa Regional Meeting in Abuja

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) hosted the 2026 International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) Africa Regional Committee (ARC) Annual Meeting and Workshop in Abuja, bringing together prominent deposit insurance leaders from across the continent.

The high-profile gathering commenced with sessions of the Research and Publicity Technical Committees, followed by the main ARC Annual Meeting presided over by Julia Oyet, Chairperson of IADI-ARC and CEO of the Deposit Protection Fund of Uganda.

The event attracted distinguished participants, including IADI Secretary-General Eva Hupkes and Chief Executive Officers of deposit insurance agencies representing countries across Africa.
